These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ProHippo — the web application, browser extension and website at prohippo.in — operated by MEHTAJI BIZCON LLP (LLPIN AAV-0638) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using ProHippo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
ProHippo is a practice-management tool for chartered accountants, tax practitioners and similar professionals. It helps you organise clients (“assessees”), matters, hearings, notices, invoices and communications, extract details from documents using AI, and — where you enable it — sync data from the Government of India Income-tax e-filing portal.
You must be at least 18 years old and a professional (or authorised staff of one) to use ProHippo. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You represent that you are authorised to store and process the client and assessee information you enter, and that you have obtained any necessary consents. If you use the portal-sync feature, you represent that you are authorised by the relevant assessee to access their Income-tax portal account using the credentials you provide. You must not use ProHippo to access any account without proper authorisation.
The optional ProHippo Sync browser extension acts only on your instruction, runs only on the Income-tax e-filing portal and ProHippo's own pages, and syncs data into your own ProHippo account. Your use of it is also subject to the Google Chrome Web Store terms under which it is distributed. How the extension handles portal credentials and the data it reads is described in our Privacy Policy, Section 4A.
ProHippo uses AI to read documents and assist with drafting and organisation. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and is provided for convenience only. It is not legal, tax or professional advice, and you must independently verify all figures, dates, sections, deadlines and drafts before relying on them. You remain solely responsible for your professional work and filings.
ProHippo is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid subscription plans in future. If we do, the applicable pricing, billing terms and any refund/cancellation policy will be presented to you before you subscribe, and continued use of paid features will be subject to those terms. We will give reasonable notice of any change from free to paid access.
ProHippo, its software, design and trademarks are owned by MEHTAJI BIZCON LLP. You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to provide the service.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice within the app.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, MEHTAJI BIZCON LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI output, missed deadlines, or portal availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using ProHippo and delete your data at any time (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
