Data & Account Deletion

You can delete your data from ProHippo at any time. This page explains the options and how to request full account deletion.

Delete data yourself (in the app)

• Delete individual records — remove any assessee, matter, hearing, notice, invoice or note directly within the app.
• Remove a saved portal login — delete stored Income-tax portal credentials for any assessee from that assessee’s page.
• Clear all practice data — from Settings, use “Clear all data” to erase your assessees, matters, hearings, notices, invoices and communications.

What is deleted

On an account-deletion request we delete your account and the practice data associated with it — including assessees, matters, hearings, notices, uploaded/synced documents, invoices, communications and any stored (encrypted) portal credentials.

Timeline

We action deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. Backups are purged on their normal rotation cycle. We may retain limited information where required by law, in which case it is not used for any other purpose.
